- Assists Senior Engineer in developing concepts design;
- Able to develop PFD, P&ID, datasheets and other deliverables from concept design stage, design development and detailed engineering stage;
- Generate engineering-related calculations, i.e. Mass Balance, pressure drops etc.;
- Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Visits sites as and when necessary and as advised by Senior Engineer;
- Able to support pre-commissioning, commissioning and certification activities;
- Responsible for ensuring to remain familiar with current practices and engineering trends within the industry and to remain technically competent;
- Troubleshoot process systems, diagnose malfunctions, and propose effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Assists Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule;
- Monitor work progress and ensure the sub-contractors to carry out works conforming to specifications and quality;
- Attend meetings and liaise closely with client/ consultant as well as local authorities pertaining to the project;
- Collaborate with project teams to prepare progress reports, project documentation, and as-built drawings.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager and the Management.
- Degree in Chemical/ Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent;
- High level of integrity drives and result oriented;
- Able to work independently under minimum supervision;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Interest in High Purity Systems, such as Ultrahigh Purity Water (UPW), Wastewater Systems, Gas Systems and Chemical Dispensing Systems
