- Ensure compliance in accordance with Factory and Machinery (Building Operations and Works of Engineering Construction) (Safety) Regulation 1986.
- Promote the safe conduct of work generally within the worksite.
- Inspect and rectify any unsafe conditions at the construction site.
- Correcting any unsafe practices.
- Checking subcontractors’ work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied with.
- Liaise with contractor’s safety supervisors with respect to safety of work undertaken by subcontractors.
- Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.
- Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned
- Diploma/ Certificate in OSH or equivalent;
- Must have valid Yellow Book;
- At least 3 years working experience in the construction industry;
- Knowledgeable in basic computer applications i.e. MS Office;
- Excellent knowledge and understanding in the EHS aspects of construction industry
- High level of integrity drives and result oriented
- Able to work independently under minimum supervision
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize to meet strict deadlines.
