- Manage and lead the commissioning process from project initiation to completion;
- Develop and implement commissioning plans and strategies to meet project goals and client expectations;
- Lead a team of commissioning engineers and technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring timely project execution;
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define commissioning scope, schedule, and objectives;
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential issues during commissioning;
- Review and analyze project documentation, specifications, and drawings to ensure proper equipment installation and functionality;
- Oversee the testing and verification of all systems, equipment, and components to confirm they meet design and performance standards;
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of commissioning activities, including test procedures, reports, and issues resolution
- Identify and resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and deficiencies that arise during commissioning;
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during commissioning activities;
- Provide technical support and guidance to on-site personnel and subcontractors;
- Participate in client meetings to report progress, address concerns, and obtain feedback;
- Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation for project closeout.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent;
- At least 15 years working experience in commissioning and project management;
- Experience in Semiconductor Wafer FAB will be an added advantage;
- Proficient knowledge of commissioning processes, best practices and industry standards;
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders;
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
- Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
- High level of integrity drives and result oriented;
- Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
