  • Assist the Financial Controller in all aspect of finance, accounting and corporate support including planning, organize, supervise and monitoring the accounts and finance department;
  • Oversees the finance reporting and operations activities of the group of companies in both local and overseas;
  • Responsible and prepare the Group consolidation financial statements and review the subsidiaries and related companies’ financial statements to ensure it is prepared in complete, accurate and timely manner in accordance to the Group policies, financial reporting standard and regulatory requirement;
  • To direct the preparation of the Management Reports, Project PL, Cash Flow Projection, Periodical Variance Analysis, Annual Budget and all other accounting and financial related reports required by the top management;
  • To support on project financing including coordinate with various departments and bankers to gather the project financing information, prepare project financing plan, project cash flow and others related documents according to the business needs and bank requirement and to ensure the smooth financing application and drawdown;
  • To coordinate and monitor the project financing terms and conditions, schedule of payment and to identify the opportunities to minimize the financial costs;
  • To control and monitor intercompany transactions and balances, trade and non-trade (AR & AP) transactions and balances and the group of companies cash flow matters;
  • To manage and review the tax compliance process, i.e. tax estimation, tax computation, coordinate and respond to income tax inquiries;
  • To schedule the Group Statutory Audit and ensure timely completion of the audit and regulatory filing;
  • Liaise and maintaining good relationship with external parties including auditors, tax agents, bankers, solicitors, government officers etc.;
  • To ensure the internal control on financial and management operations, business processes and systems are compliance with Group policies, procedures, government and statutory regulations;
  • Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned.
  • Degree in Accountancy /Finance or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with minimum 8 years post qualification experience;

  • Must have hand-on experience in group consolidation accounting;

  • Preferable to have construction accounting and working experience in engineering construction industry;

  • Prior working experience in corporate finance work, due diligence exercise and listed companies would be an advantage;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Points and experience with ERP Accounting Systems (i.e. IFCA, Oracle, SAP);

  • Team player with strong communication and supervisory skills;

  • Being flexible and adaptable at works.
